PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The La Marche Battery Float Current Monitor Digital (FCMD) is a battery monitoring device that precisely measures float current. Float current is the amount of current (mA) a battery draws from the charger when it is fully charged. As a battery ages, its internal resistance increases, leading to a corresponding rise in float current. Float current levels are a reliable indicator of battery health, letting the operator detect internal battery degradation early.

In addition to monitoring float current, the FCMD accurately measures and reports both charging and discharging currents, providing critical data to support NERC PRC-005-6 performance- based maintenance while reducing the need for manual testing. The device also captures full battery voltage and midpoint voltage directly at the terminals to ensure precise and reliable data. An integrated LCD display presents all key parameters in real time, with intuitive navigation buttons for easy access to system data and configuration settings.
